Program Outcomes

1Acquires the fundamental knowledge required for the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants; applies knowledge of botany, ecology, and flora to production processes.
2Keeps up with scientific and professional developments in the field using computer and internet technologies; effectively utilizes sectoral digital tools.
3Explains genetics and breeding aspects of medicinal and aromatic plant species; applies current cultivation methods.
4Explains and applies production techniques for medicinal and aromatic plant propagation materials (seeds, cuttings, etc.).
5Applies processing technologies for medicinal and aromatic plants, as well as distillation, extraction, and quality control processes.
6Applies plant nutrition, organic fertilization, and irrigation methods for medicinal and aromatic plants, while observing occupational health and safety and environmental protection principles.
7Applies methods for controlling diseases, pests, and weeds in medicinal and aromatic plants by assuming responsibility within a team.
8Acquires knowledge regarding the quality control, preservation, and market preparation of products derived from medicinal and aromatic plants; effectively communicates this information both in writing and orally.
9Knows the tools and methods to be used in introducing new agricultural technologies to producers; pursues professional development based on the principle of lifelong learning and shapes career goals accordingly.
10Possesses professional ethics and a sense of responsibility; upholds scientific, cultural, and societal values ​​when collecting and sharing data related to the field. Keeps up with developments in the field through foreign-language sources.
