Specific Admission Requirements
Those who get 150 points or more in TYT type from the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) of the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) are placed in the Horticulture Program according to their preference order.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal And Informal)
The curriculum in the "Foreign Language" and "computer" classes are held for the exemption exam at the beginning of each academic year. Students who are successful in these courses are exempt.
Qualification Requirements And Regulations
To successfully complete the program, all courses are available 2:00 weighted GPA of 4.00 to achieve and must successfully complete a professional internship

Purpose of Ege University Ödemiş Vocational School, Horticulture Program, using basic knowledge and skills, realizing the production of high yield and quality vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants, breeding, mechanization, propagation and cultural care operations (irrigation, fertilization, fighting against diseases, pests and weeds, pruning, thinning, etc.), To train qualified associate degree graduates who are equipped with today's modern and up-to-date knowledge and experience, who are professionally and ethically responsible, who can establish and operate their own business in the public sector.

1.Governmental organizations and institutions: the Provincial and District Directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Affairs, Research institutes and municipalities. 2.Agricultural-Purpose Cooperatives: Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, Agricultural Sales Cooperatives and Agricultural Development Cooperatives. 3.Private Sector Enterprises: Vegetables, fruit and ornamental plant production and marketing enterprises, mushrooms businesses and greenhouses, seed dealers, and agricultural pesticides. 4.Own businesses: Vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants and agricultural production and marketing enterprises and agrochemicals dealership (Those who have passed the Plant Protection Products Dealer and Wholesale Exam held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry ) can open.
Access To Further Studies
The person who completed the associate degree program can go up to management according to his / her performance in the workplace. Also; with DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam), you can transfer to the Faculty of Agriculture..Those who transfer vertically become "Agricultural Engineer" after graduation.Undergraduate programs that can be transferred are as follows: * Horticulture * Herbal Production and Technologies * Soil Science and Plant Nutrition * Plant Protection * Organic Agriculture Management * Field Crops
Examination Regulations, Assessment And Grading
Exams are administered according to the 'Ege University Measurement and Evaluation Principles Directive'. For each course taken on a semester basis, including "mid-term exam" and "end of semester" at the end of the semester; Written, oral, applied and laboratory exams are conducted in accordance with the content of the course. In case of failure in the course, he has the right to make up. There is no "Summer School" in our college.
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the Horticulture Program, the student must successfully complete all of the available courses, achieve a weighted grade point average of 2.00 out of 4.00, and successfully complete a 30-work-day professional internship.

Facilities
The program, three permanent teaching staff are on duty. Fruit and vegetable gardens to provide students make application, manufacturing and production greenhouses, and has ties to the collection.
